Software Engineering Manager

Description:  

Required:  

(1) Minimum of 10 years of DO-178B software and verification.
(2) Minimum of 5 years DO-178B project management experience.
(3) Minimum of 2 years experience as a DO-178B Software Engineering Manager.
(4) Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
(5) Formal management training (MBA or equivalent desired).
(6) Knowledge of numerous airborne systems and interfaces.
(7) Knowledge of numerous software development target enviroments and tool sets.
(8) Strong C and C++ background (Ada also desired).
(9) Strong DO-178B verification background.
(10) Familiarity with numerous structural coverage analysis tools.
(11) Strong electronics/embedded systems background.

Responsibilities:  

-Oversee weekly project status meetings.
-Participate in weekly customer teleconference calls.
-Manpower planning.
-Annual performance metric tracking and analysis.
-Occasional travel to US customer sites and other Avionyx facilities.
